What we collect
This website is built to need very little from you. We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us:
- When you book a call. The booking calendar on our Contact page is provided by Cal.com. To book, you give your name, email address and anything you choose to add about your project. Cal.com shares the booking with us.
- When you write to us. If you email one@truffaire.in, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.
How the website is used.We count visits in our own, cookie-free analytics, so we know which pages help people and which don't: the page, how long it was read, which buttons were pressed, how the visit arrived (for example from a search or a link), and the type of device and browser. Your browser keeps a random code so a return visit isn't counted twice. We see your country and city from the connection, but we never store your IP address, and nothing here is linked to your name or email. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, none of this is collected.
We do not run advertising or third-party tracking tools on this website, and we do not sell or share this data.
Your drawings
The drawing wall on our Studiopage saves the pieces you frame in your own browser's storage, so they are there when you come back. Clearing your browser's site data removes them, and so does “Take down” on each piece.
Nothing is sent to us unless you choose Share with the studio. If you do, we receive each drawing, its title and the name you signed it with, plus a random code your browser keeps so the same piece isn't stored twice. They are stored with Vercel. We may hang the ones we choose on the shared wall on our Studio page, where anyone can see them. Write to one@truffaire.in and we will take a shared piece down and delete it.
How we use it
We use what you share only to:
- hold the call you booked and prepare for it;
- reply to your messages and discuss the work you asked about;
- keep a record of our conversation if we go on to work together.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising.
Why we may use it
We process your information with your consent, given when you book a call or write to us, and to take the steps you ask for before any agreement with us. This follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.
Who else is involved
A few trusted services help run this website. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Cal.com runs the booking calendar and stores your booking. It may set cookies needed for the calendar to work once the calendar loads.
- Google hosts the video call (Google Meet) and the calendar invitation that follows a booking.
- Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details in short-lived logs to serve pages and keep the site secure.
- Convex stores our visit counts and any drawings you choose to share, on our behalf.
- Unsplash serves some of the photographs on our Servicespage, so your browser requests those images from Unsplash's servers.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and correspondence for as long as we are talking, and for as long as is reasonably needed afterwards to follow up, to work together, or to meet legal and accounting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
Keeping it safe
The website is served only over encrypted connections, and access to booking details and email is limited to the people at Truffaire who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information about you we hold;
- correct or complete it;
- delete it;
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.
Write to one@truffaire.in. We will reply within a reasonable time, and within any period the law sets. If you are unhappy with our reply, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will be made clear on the page.
